Sandy has three sons and has lived most of her life in New Zealand. She spent six months in London in 2007 to research her last book and returned again to London in 2010 to concentrate on the Women's World Car of the Year. The first presentation to the supreme award winner, to Jaguar, was at their boutique showroom in Knightsbridge in 2010.
Sandy returned to New Zealand in 2010 and lives in the beautiful Bay of Islands.
